Pressure in Large Nf QCD

Guy Moore

McGill University

Perturbation theory appears to work terribly in hot QCD; for instance, the series for the pressure shows poor convergence even at temperatures where the running coupling is small, αs ~ 0.1. People have proposed resummation schemes intended to address this problem, but they cannot be tested without accurate, independent results. I show how to get such results for a `toy' limit of QCD-large number of fermions
