Chris Walter Boston University In this talk I will review the recent Super-Kamiokande atmospheric neutrino results. I will concentrate on explaining the analysis technique and cross-checks which were done. Finally I will give an introduction to the K2K experiment which uses a artificial neutrino beam produced at the 12 GeV proton synchrotron at KEK and detects the neutrinos 250 km away using the Super-Kamiokande detector. The K2K experiment began to take data in March of 1999.
