Thermalization after inflation in SUSY

Rouzbeh Allahverdi

TRIUMF

I will discuss modifications in thermal histoy of the universe in supersymmetry, particularly highlighting the importance of flat directions. As a result, thermalization can be an extremely slow process and lead to reheat temperatures as low as O(TeV). The universe generically enters a (very) long period of quasi-thermal phase after inflaton decay. I will discuss consequences for thermal particle production, in particular gravitino problem in models with weak scale supersymmetry.
