Holographic Gauge Mediation

I will discuss a model of supersymmetry breaking where supersymmetry is spontaneously broken in a hidden sector strongly coupled field theory and then transmitted to the Standard Model via semi-direct gauge mediation. The gravity dual is a background where supersymmetry is broken at the end of a warped throat, and then transmitted to the Standard Model via gauginos; the leading effect arises from the splitting of “messenger mesons”, which are KK modes on the D-brane where the Standard Model lives.
