Holographic cameras: an eye for the bulk

We consider four-point correlators in an excited state of a quantum field theory. We show that when the theory and state are holographic, such correlators naturally produce movies of point-like bulk particles, that reveal the geometry in which they move. In theories or states that are not holographic, the same method produces images that are too blurry to deduce a bulk geometry. I will describe how such correlators can be calculated by adapting formulas from conformal Regge theory, and display the results in various models. Based on arXiv:2211.11791.
