Martin Landriau
Department of Astronomy University of Texas at
Austin & Danish National Space Center

emanating from theoretical physics. After a short historical introduction,
I will review the possible ways of detecting cosmic strings, with emphasis
on current probes and surveys and conclude by presenting our most recent
results.
