Theory HEP SeminarEntanglement entropy in de Sitter spaceGuilherme PimentelPrincetonI will discuss the entanglement entropy for superhorizon fluctuations in de Sitter space. It captures the long range correlations produced by the expansion of the universe. I consider a spherical entangling surface at very late times, and compute a specific piece of the entropy. In four dimensions, it is proportional to the number of e-folds elapsed since the region was inside the horizon. The computation is performed for free field theories and strongly coupled field theories with gravity duals.
