Entanglement entropy in de Sitter space

Guilherme Pimentel

Princeton

I will discuss the entanglement entropy for superhorizon fluctuations in de Sitter space. It captures the long range correlations produced by the expansion of the universe. I consider a spherical entangling surface at very late times, and compute a specific piece of the entropy. In four dimensions, it is proportional to the number of e-folds elapsed since the region was inside the horizon. The computation is performed for free field theories and strongly coupled field theories with gravity duals.
