EFT of biased tracers of the cosmological matter field

This will be a primer about effective field theory descriptions of large scale structure. In spite of the fact that the fields being described (the density and velocity) are classical, many analogies to QFT are readily apparent in this EFT context. Time permitting, I will talk about the matter field, biased tracers of the matter field in real and redshift space, and various applications of these ideas to observables.
