Event-by-Event Viscous Photon Emission in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions

C. Shen

The Ohio State University

We present the state-of-the-art calculations of viscous photon emissions in event-by-event relativistic heavy-ion collisions at both top RHIC and LHC energies. pT-differential elliptic flow as well as higher order anisotropic coefficients are presented. We find that the triangular flow signal from thermal photons is sizable and possible to be measured. The viscous corrections to thermal photon production rates are calculated up to complete leading-log order. Flow correlations between photons and hadrons will also be presented.
