Poincare-Invariant QFTs on the Noncommutative Moyal Plane Abstract: Quantum Field Theories (QFTs) on the Moyal plane admit a novel (twisted) quantization that respects Poincare invariance. Unlike conventional QFTs, these twisted QFTs are free of problems like UV-IR mixing. Gauge theories with arbitrary gauge group can also be constructed, allowing us to study realistic models for particle phenomenology. A new feature of twisted quantization is the deformation of the usual spin-statistics connection at high energies, thus suggesting potential phenomenological signatures.
