Electron Dynamics in the Quantum Limit
Michael Hilke
Physics Department McGill University
Why electron dynamics? When dimensions or time scales are reduced
sufficently, quantum effects start to dominate most of the physics, which can
lead to interesting applications such as quantum computing or molecular
electronics. While we haven't built a quantum computer yet, we will present a
few results obtained in the regime of sub-nanoseconds at the nanometer
scale.
