NanoQuebec's upcoming infrastructures funding program,
and a founding nanotechnology initiative

After a short description of NanoQuebec and some definitions of nanotechnology, a general description of the upcoming infrastructures funding program will be presented. The proposed calendar, procedures, acceptable expanses and selection criterias will be discussed. The budgetary context will be addressed, as well as the expansion of nanotechnology activities in Quebec.

As for the founding nanotechnology initiative, its necessity will be debated. The roadmap towards its creation will be presented. The current proposal of a facility related to nanobiotechnology will also be put to the test.
