Neutrino, A Born Spy for the Fifth Dimension

C.S. Lam

McGill

I start with an introduction to the present status of neutrino physics, and a discussion of why extra spacetime dimensions are expected by some theorists. I will go on to argue that neutrino oscillation is an excellent probe for the fifth dimenion. I conclude that there is no experimental evidence for the presence of a fifth dimension, though that does not mean that it cannot be there.
